Für praxisorientierte Ingenieure und Studenten entstand in Fortsetzung der Tradition an der TU München zu Fachbüchern über Gasturbinen und Flugantriebe (H.G. Münzberg und Mitautoren J. Kurzke und H. Rick) dieses einführende Buch zu Grundlagen, Auslegung und zur rechnergestützten Simulation stationärer und mobiler Gasturbinenanlagen der Energie- und Kraftwerkstechnik sowie der Fahrzeug- und Schiffstechnik. Besonders hervorgehoben werden die Turbo-, Staustrahl- und Kombinationstriebwerke für Hubschrauber und Flugzeuge des Unterschall- bis Hyperschallfluges. Ausgehend von den realen, thermodynamischen Arbeitsprozessen zu Gasturbinen werden die Hauptkomponenten wie Turboverdichter, Turbinen und Brennräume grundlegend erläutert. Darauf aufbauend wird über Leistungssyntheserechnungen das stationäre und instationäre Betriebsverhalten simuliert sowie die Anpassung an verschiedene Lastbereiche und Einsatzbedingungen behandelt. Strategien zur Auslegungsmethodik und -optimierung werden beispielhaft besonders an typischen Turbofan-Triebwerken demonstriert. About the Author
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Rick war nach dem Studium des Maschinenbaues an der TH Karlsruhe (Diplom 1962) in den Dornier-Werken im Flugversuch verantwortlich für alle Triebwerkssysteme und leitete damit verbunden zahlreiche Flugversuche beim V/STOL-Transportflugzeug Do 31. Er promovierte und habilitierte anschließend an der TU München (Prof. Münzberg) und war ab 1981 als Akad. Direktor und Professor für Gasturbinen und Flugantriebe tätig. Schwerpunkte seiner Aktivitäten bilden am Institut für Luft- und Raumfahrt die Lehre und die Forschung besonders bei internationalen Industrie-Kooperationen auf den Gebieten des Leistungs- und Betriebsverhaltens der Antriebe von Hubschraubern und Flugzeugen bis zu Raumtransporter-Hyperschallflugzeugen. Er ist Autor und Mitautor zahlreicher Veröffentlichungen u.a. des Buches “Flugantriebe“ von H.G. Münzberg.
